Cairo: President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, directed that the causes of the Dawawis road accident in Ismailia be promptly determined and that all legal procedures be completed accurately and comprehensively as soon as possible, with continuous updates on the latest developments.

According to State Information Service Egypt, President Sisi also directed the Ministry of Health to provide the necessary medical care to those injured in the accident, while instructing the Ministry of Social Solidarity to immediately disburse compensation to the injured and the families of the deceased.

The President further directed the Governor of Ismailia to clear the site of the tragic accident and extend his condolences to the families of the victims.
