Cairo: President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi arrived in New Delhi, India, on Friday, September 11, 2026, to participate in the 18th BRICS Summit.According to State Information Service Egypt, the President was received at Palam Air Force Station by several officials, including Indian Minister of State for Defence Sanjay Seth and Air Officer Commanding of the Base Repair Depot at Palam Air Commodore B S Vijay Rao. The welcoming delegation also included Joint Secretary (West Asia, North Africa) at the Indian Ministry of External Affairs Ambassador Suresh Kumar; Ms. Nisha Dhawal from the Indian Ministry of External Affairs; Egypt's Ambassador to India Kamel Galal; and members of the Egyptian Embassy in New Delhi.
