Nairobi: President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi arrived on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at the venue of the Africa-France Summit in Nairobi to participate in the inaugural session of the event.
According to State Information Service Egypt, French President Emmanuel Macron and leaders from over 30 African countries are attending the Africa-France Summit. The summit is being held under the theme ‘Africa Forward’ and aims to discuss ways to enhance trade and economic partnerships between Africa and France.
The ‘Africa Forward’ initiative is designed to drive innovation, strengthen partnerships, and support sustainable and inclusive growth. It seeks to develop practical solutions to shared challenges, including economic development and global governance.
