Cairo: Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of the See of St. Mark, welcomed Pshtiwan Sadiq Abdullah, Minister of Endowments and Religious Affairs of Iraq's Kurdistan Region, along with his delegation at the Papal headquarters in Cairo on Friday.

According to State Information Service Egypt, Coptic Orthodox Church spokesman Moussa Ibrahim announced that the meeting was part of the Kurdish minister's ongoing visit to Cairo. During the meeting, both parties exchanged greetings and expressions of goodwill, followed by a photo session to commemorate the occasion.
