Benha: Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli visited the Pharmazad Group Dietary Supplements factory during a tour of the Benha investment zone, Qalyubia. The visit highlighted the importance of the facility within the local manufacturing sector.
According to State Information Service Egypt, company officials stated that the facility manufactures pharmaceuticals and dietary supplements across 10 industrial units covering 3,600 square meters. The factory’s annual output reaches approximately 4,590 tons, producing between 60 and 70 million packages. Currently, around 30% of the factory’s output is exported, with plans to increase this share to 50% by 2026-2027.
The factory produces a variety of items including capsules, liquids, effervescent products, and orally dissolving forms. It employs around 500 workers, contributing significantly to local employment. During his visit, Madbouli met with many workers to review working conditions and discuss future prospects for the factory and the broader industry.
