PM Urges Greater Use of Local Products in Hayah Karima Projects


New capital: Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli emphasized the importance of expanding reliance on local products in implementing the various projects of the second and third phases of the presidential initiative ‘Hayah Karima.’



According to State Information Service Egypt, Madbouli noted that Egypt has many advanced industries across different sectors that could meet the needs of these projects while adhering to the required specifications. This came during a meeting held at the government headquarters in the New Capital to follow up on the plan and mechanisms for the second and third phases of the presidential initiative for developing Egyptian rural villages, ‘Hayah Karima.’



Madbouli highlighted the pivotal role of the ‘Hayah Karima’ initiative in developing Egyptian rural villages through the implementation of various developmental and social projects that contribute to improving and enhancing the quality of services provided to citizens in these villages across multiple sectors.



He also referred to the ongoing directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, stressing the importance of completing the various phases of the initiative and its projects swiftly to achieve the intended goals and to ensure that citizens feel an improvement in the quality and efficiency of the services provided to them.



Spokesman for the Cabinet Mohamed el Homsany said that during the meeting, the plan and mechanisms for implementing the projects of the second and third phases of the ‘Hayah Karima’ initiative were reviewed, ensuring that any issues or challenges faced during the first phase are addressed. The goal is to expedite project implementation and put them into service as soon as possible, maximizing the investments allocated and ensuring greater benefits for the citizens in the villages and centers targeted by the initiative.
