Cairo: Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli has reaffirmed that the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone) has 14 industrial developers, while the contract of Abu Dhabi Port will be the 15th deal there.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the Premier's remarks came during his visit to a factory of the National Egyptian Railway Industries Company (NERIC) in Port Said. The visit was attended by Transport and Industry Minister Kamel El Wazir, Supply Minister Sherif Farouq, Head of the General Authority for Suez Canal Economic Zone Walid Gamal Eddin, and a host of respective officials.

Madbouli stressed that the state is keen to develop East Port Said zone in light of its unique location globally. He noted that a significant development project will be carried out in this zone, emphasizing the strategic importance of the area for international trade and economic growth.
