Cairo: Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli has reviewed the response of the Unified Government Complaints System to several cases nationwide. He emphasized the importance of intensifying efforts by the complaints system to monitor, receive, and address citizens' complaints across the country. This is to be done in coordination with relevant authorities to ensure effective responses.According to State Information Service Egypt, Madbouli made these remarks while reviewing a report submitted by Tarek el-Rifai, the Assistant Secretary General of the Unified Government Complaints Secretariat, for January. Rifai highlighted that the cabinet's complaints system remains committed to ensuring effective communication with various segments of society. These efforts have resulted in a range of responses in collaboration with the ministries concerned and their affiliated bodies.Rifai reported that the system received and tracked 186,000 complaints, requests, and inquiries in November. After initial review and verification , 143,000 complaints were forwarded to the relevant bodies, while 36,000 were resolved centrally before referral. He also noted that ministries accounted for 55 percent of all complaints referred to the concerned bodies during the month.
