PM Renews Amr El-Hag’s Appointment as Head of Egyptian Atomic Energy Authority

Cairo: Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli has decided to renew Amr El-Hag's appointment as the president of the Egyptian Atomic Energy Authority (EAEA). This decision was announced on July 15, 2025, signifying the continuation of his leadership and contributions to the organization.

According to State Information Service Egypt, this renewal underscores the confidence in Dr. El-Hag's leadership, acknowledging his efforts in improving the research infrastructure and enhancing training programs for young professionals. His work in fostering cooperation programs with international bodies, particularly the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), aligns with Egypt's sustainable development goals.

Dr. El-Hag has been serving as the EAEA President since 2021 and is set to continue in his role through 2025, guiding the authority in its mission and operations.
