Cairo: Egypt's Drug Authority (EDA) head Ali El-Ghamrawy held an official meeting with MSD Egypt's Managing Director Hazem Abdel Samie to explore avenues of future cooperation. The talks focused on reviewing MSD's performance in the Egyptian market during 2024 and discussing mechanisms to facilitate the launch of new pharmaceutical products.According to State Information Service Egypt, the two sides also explored opportunities for localising the production of certain biological medicines. This effort aims to reduce import costs and strengthen Egypt's pharmaceutical security.
