PM Reaffirms Commitment to Ras El Hekma Development Projects

Ras el hekma: Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, reaffirmed the government's commitment to closely follow up the implementation of Ras El Hekma development projects. The ongoing coordination and cooperation between the Egyptian and UAE sides aim to ensure steady progress in line with the scheduled timetable.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the project is expected to support development and investment opportunities across Egypt's northwestern Mediterranean coast, ultimately contributing to the completion of the ambitious integrated development scheme. The premier made these remarks during a meeting with Jassem al Zaabi, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Department of Finance and Chairman of Modon Holding, at the government headquarters in the New Capital. The meeting focused on reviewing the latest developments in the implementation of the Ras El Hekma projects on the northwestern coast.

During the meeting, Zaabi reviewed progress achieved in the development works, noting that implementation is proceeding according to schedule. He emphasized that the timeline would allow the first phase's hotel, commercial, and entertainment facilities to begin operations as planned, providing a distinctive tourism experience by capitalizing on the area's exceptional natural assets and attracting more visitors.

Zaabi expressed gratitude to Madbouly for his continued follow-up on the project's implementation, describing the development as a major step toward achieving a transformative economic and tourism boost for Egypt's northwestern coast. The meeting concluded with an agreement to conduct a field visit to the Ras El Hekma development site in the coming period to review progress on the ground.
