Cairo: Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly emphasized the importance of effective coordination among various relevant authorities to ensure the highest quality of services for Egyptian pilgrims during the upcoming Hajj season. The aim is to guarantee readiness and proper preparations, facilitating a smooth and easy performance of the rituals.
According to State Information Service Egypt, Madbouly chaired a meeting of the Supreme Hajj Committee, attended by key government figures including Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development, Minister of Industry and Transport Eng. Kamel El-Wazir; Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Sherif Fathy; Minister of Social Solidarity Dr. Maya Morsy; and Minister of Awqaf Dr. Osama El-Azhary.
The meeting focused on proposed regulations for the Hajj season of 1447 AH / 2026 AD. The Prime Minister instructed full coordination with Saudi authorities to implement measures ensuring the safety of pilgrims and the proper performance of rituals.
Additionally, the meeting reviewed the procedures and medical examinations required for Egyptian pilgrims, in accordance with the regulations set by the Ministry of Health and Population. Steps to electronically record each patient's health data were discussed to ensure comprehensive medical services. It was also confirmed that EgyptAir's fleet is fully prepared to transport all Egyptian pilgrims.
