Cairo: Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli visited the 'Fustat View' project overlooking Fustat Hills Park, as part of his tour on Saturday to review the progress of several Historic Cairo revitalization projects. This followed his review of the 'Rawdat Al Sayyida 2' alternative housing project.

According to State Information Service Egypt, Chairman of the Urban Development Fund (UDF) Khaled Seddik asserted that the implementation of 'Fustat View' is part of the UDF's role in promoting sustainable urban development, improving living conditions, enhancing the urban environment, and continuing the government's efforts to eliminate unsafe areas. During the inspection tour, Madbouli was briefed by Sameh Seifin, General Manager of Innovo Company, who outlined the project's components.

'Fustat View' overlooks Fustat Hills Park and comprises 1,412 residential units and 240 units within hotel towers, alongside a variety of commercial and administrative units. The project forms a fully integrated urban community, offering amenities such as a health club, mosque, multi-story parking garage, and extensive green spaces, aiming to enhance residents' quality of life and restore the area's cultural identity.

Seddik mentioned that 'Fustat View' is one of the fund's flagship projects, spanning 30 feddans in the area formerly known as 'Batan Al Baqara,' which had previously been classified as a second-degree unsafe zone under the national map of unsafe areas. The fund successfully cleared the entire 'Batan Al Baqara' area, relocating all residents to alternative housing in the 'Al Asmarat' project, totaling around 2,000 units at an estimated cost exceeding EGP 1 billion.

Madbouli praised the project for its prime location overlooking Fustat Park and directed authorities to accelerate marketing efforts to sell the units, noting the high demand due to the site's distinguished location.
