PM Madbouli and Japanese Counterpart Discuss Expanding Bilateral Cooperation

Johannesburg: Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli met with Japan's Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi on the sidelines of the G20 Summit. The meeting focused on aspirations to enhance cooperation between Egypt and Japan, specifically in advanced technological industries, artificial intelligence, and digital governance. Additionally, the discussion included opening new avenues for economic collaboration.

According to State Information Service Egypt, Madbouli praised the strong ties between Egypt and Japan, highlighting Japan's support for major national projects such as the Grand Egyptian Museum and the educational partnership between the two nations. Takaichi expressed appreciation for the longstanding relations and emphasized her desire to build on recent high-level visits to strengthen cooperation across various fields.
