Cairo: Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly inspected the historic headquarters of the Egyptian Geographical Society on Sunday, June 21, 2026, to follow up on restoration efforts to restore the building to its original condition.

According to State Information Service Egypt, Madbouly was accompanied during the visit by the Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Raafat Hindi, and the Minister of Culture, Jehan Zaki. The inspection focused on ongoing works to restore and preserve the historic site and ensure that its architectural and cultural heritage is maintained.
