Beirut: Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli on Friday 19/12/2025 held an expanded round of talks with his Lebanese counterpart Nawaf Salam at the Grand Serail in Beirut, in the presence of delegations from both countries. Madbouli began a visit to Lebanon on Thursday 18/12/2025. The visit aimed at discussing ways to enhance bilateral cooperation and address a host of regional issues.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the discussions between the two leaders were focused on strengthening the economic ties between Egypt and Lebanon. The meeting also covered key regional concerns that both nations are currently facing.

The talks are part of a series of diplomatic engagements by Prime Minister Madbouli to fortify Egypt's relations with neighboring Arab countries. Both delegations expressed optimism about the outcomes of the talks and the potential for future joint initiatives.
