Luanda: Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly departed from Cairo International Airport on Saturday, August 29, 2026, to represent President Abdel Fattah El Sisi at the Extraordinary African Union Summit hosted in the Angolan capital.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the summit in Luanda will see the participation of various African heads of state and government. The main focus will be on strengthening mechanisms for dispute prevention and resolution across the continent. Prime Minister Madbouly is expected to deliver a speech addressing these crucial issues, emphasizing the importance of peace, security, and stability.

The summit agenda includes discussions on key priorities for the African Union, such as advancing efforts to prevent disputes, resolving crises, and supporting countries affected by conflicts.
