Cairo: Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli affirmed on Thursday, December 11, 2025, that Egypt has become a leading global destination for scientific and economic cooperation based on a strategic vision that makes scientific research and innovation the fundamental pillars for achieving sustainable development.

According to State Information Service Egypt, addressing the International Research Commercialization Expo (IRC EXPO 2025), Madbouli stated, "We meet today under the gracious patronage of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to affirm that Egypt is not only a land of history, but also a land of the future, science, and innovation." The Prime Minister highlighted the country's focus on scientific research and innovation as a strategic priority.

Madbouli emphasized that the InterAcademy Partnership (IAP) meeting, hosted in the Arab world for the first time, will gather representatives from over 140 academies worldwide. The meeting aims to discuss evidence-based policymaking and explore the connections between science and government.

He further added that the IRC Expo 2025 will serve as a platform connecting researchers with investors and industry leaders. The event will showcase innovations with commercial potential, aiming to expedite the transformation of research into market-ready products and services.
