PM Asserts Government’s Commitment to Attracting Global Companies with Specialized Industrial Expertise

Sokhna: Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly said that the state is working to encourage knowledge- and advanced technical expertise-based industries as one of the key pathways for industrial development.

According to State Information Service Egypt, Madbouly stressed the government's commitment to attracting global companies with specialized industrial expertise, which would contribute to technology transfer, the development of qualified national talent, and enhancing the competitiveness of Egyptian products. This aligns with the state's objectives of transforming Egypt into a regional hub for manufacturing and exports.

Madbouly made the remarks during the inauguration of the factory of Lijialong Brush Co., Ltd., which specializes in manufacturing brushes, sealing strips, and products and accessories for doors and windows. The inauguration took place during his tour of the integrated Sokhna Industrial Zone, affiliated with the General Authority for the Suez Canal Economic Zone.

He added that the authority continues to attract specialized industries based on modern technology and industrial knowledge transfer, given their added value to the national economy. These industries play an important role in supporting exports and enhancing the competitiveness of the Suez Canal Economic Zone as a regional hub for industry and logistics services.

During his tour of the factory, Madbouly inspected the various stages of production, starting with the preparation of raw materials and ending with the final product, particularly the brush manufacturing process. The factory provides around 70 job opportunities, with a focus on training and transferring technical knowledge to Egyptian workers to help ensure sustainable operations.
