Cairo: Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly issued a decision appointing Counselor Mohamed Adel as the official spokesperson for the Cabinet Presidency, succeeding Counselor Mohamed El-Homsany, who will assume the position of Deputy Assistant Foreign Minister for Parliamentary Affairs.

According to State Information Service Egypt, Counselor Mohamed Adel Mohamed Ali Hassanein is a graduate of Cairo University's Faculty of Economics and Political Science. He recently returned from Geneva, where he served as part of Egypt's Permanent Mission.

Counselor Adel has previously served at Egypt's diplomatic missions in Hanoi and Kuwait, as well as at the Foreign Ministry's official spokesperson's office before being transferred to the Geneva mission. His past roles have provided him with extensive experience in dealing with the media.

In addition to his media-related roles, Counselor Adel has also worked in the parliamentary sector at the Foreign Ministry and served as part of the Egyptian delegation to the League of Arab States.
