Cairo: Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli issued a decision accepting the resignation of Environment Minister Yassmin Fouad. The decision was announced on Sunday, July 20, 2025.

According to State Information Service Egypt, Madbouli has also assigned Local Development Minister Manal Awad to temporarily take over the duties of the environment portfolio. Awad will manage these responsibilities along with her current role until a new minister is appointed.
