Beheira: Minister of Planning and Economic Development Ahmed Rostom stated on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, that field monitoring of development projects and ongoing coordination with governorates are essential components of the ministry's strategic priorities. These efforts aim to ensure the effective execution of the country's economic and social development plan within the framework of public investment governance.According to State Information Service Egypt, Rostom emphasized during an inspection visit to Beheira Governorate, alongside Governor Jacqueline Azar, that on-site visits provide the ministry with the opportunity to closely monitor project progress. Such visits also allow for the assessment of the projects' impact on citizens' quality of life and enable swift resolution of any challenges that arise during implementation.The inspection tour in Beheira includes evaluations of development projects across crucial sectors such as infrastructure, healthcare, education, human development, and agriculture . These efforts are part of a broader initiative to localize development and enhance public services throughout Egypt.This visit is one in a series of nationwide field tours conducted by Rostom to oversee the implementation progress of the 2025/2026 investment plan. Earlier in the year, Rostom visited Port Said and Monofia to review similar development projects.
