Planning Minister Conducts Initial Meeting with Ministry Leaders to Monitor Plan’s Progress

Cairo: Minister of Planning and Economic Development Dr. Ahmed Rostom convened a meeting with the ministry's leaders, marking his first official engagement since taking the constitutional oath before President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic.

According to State Information Service Egypt, Dr. Ahmed Rostom utilized the meeting to review priority work files, emphasizing the necessity for the swift completion of ongoing efforts. The minister highlighted the importance of maintaining a smooth workflow and enhancing coordination among different sectors to align with the state's sustainable economic development goals.

Dr. Rostom underscored the critical need for efficient and consistent operation of the development plan, prioritizing the regular monitoring of implementation rates. He called for accelerated performance to optimize resource utilization, aiming to achieve the state's objectives for comprehensive and sustainable development.

The Minister also stressed the significance of prioritizing teamwork and strengthening internal communication channels across all sectors involved in the development plan. This approach is intended to align with Vision 2030 and improve overall efficiency within the ministry's work system.
