Petroleum Minister Opens Promotional Session for Egypt’s Mining Sector at Riyadh Conference

Riyadh: Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Karim Badaway Thursday inaugurated a promotional session for investment in Egypt's mining sector held on the sidelines of an international mining conference taking place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The session marked a significant step in Egypt's efforts to attract international investors to its mining sector.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the session featured participation from the heads of Egypt's mining companies, who presented a new vision aimed at fostering an attractive investment environment. Badaway highlighted the reforms and incentives currently being implemented by Egypt, showcasing the investment opportunities available in the mining sector to investors and representatives from global companies attending the conference.

Badawy emphasized that Egypt has moved from a phase of intentions to actual implementation in developing its mining sector. He assured investors of a clear future vision for the sector and detailed practical steps being taken to eliminate investment barriers.
