Tunis:The House of Representatives will hold a plenary session on Sunday, as announced by the parliament's General Secretariat.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the session has been scheduled following a request from President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.

This announcement comes after Sisi's remarks during a graduation ceremony for new classes of Egyptian military academies and colleges, where he reaffirmed Egypt's support for the security of Saudi Arabia and Gulf states. He proposed the emergency parliamentary session to consider authorizing any intervention requested by Saudi Arabia for its defense.
