Riyadh: The Muslim World League has strongly condemned the ongoing Israeli violations in the Gaza Strip, as well as the continued targeting of civilians and essential infrastructure.
According to Union of OIC News Agencies, a statement from the General Secretariat of the Muslim World League was issued by His Excellency the Secretary-General, Sheikh Dr. Muhammad bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa. The statement denounced the Israeli actions in Gaza and the occupied Palestinian territories, labeling them as violations of religious values and international laws, and damaging to peace efforts. Sheikh Dr. Al-Issa praised the statements from the foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia, Jordan, the UAE, Qatar, Indonesia, Pakistan, Egypt, and Turkey, which called for confronting these violations and protecting Palestinian rights.
The statement highlighted the urgent need for the international community to fulfill its moral and legal obligations to halt the Israeli violations in the occupied Palestinian territories.
