Cairo: In implementation of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi's directives to the Minister of State for Information to coordinate among media bodies, Minister of State for Information Diaa Rashwan, will hold a meeting with the heads of media bodies this Tuesday. This was announced by the Minister at the press conference held by Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly last Thursday following the first session of the newly formed Cabinet.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the meeting will include Diaa Rashwan, the Minister of State for Information, Eng. Khaled Abdel Aziz, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Media Regulation; Eng. Abdel Sadek El-Shorbagy, Chairman of the National Press Authority; and Mr. Ahmed El-Moslemany, Chairman of the National Media Authority.

The meeting will address ways to enhance cooperation among the four entities and coordinate efforts in the area of institutional performance, according to the scope of work assigned to each, in light of the mandates given to the Ministry of State for Information and the responsibilities of the Supreme Council for Media Regulation, the National Press Authority, and the National Media Authority, as stipulated in the Constitution and the laws governing each of these bodies.

The meeting will be followed by the issuance of a press release announcing its results to the public.
