Cairo: The Ministry of Social Solidarity has launched the experimental operation of the Control Center for the National Emergency and Public Safety Network at its new headquarters in the New Administrative Capital, in collaboration with the Signal Department of the Armed Forces.
According to State Information Service Egypt, this initiative aligns with the political leadership's vision to establish a comprehensive technological system for managing emergencies and public safety. The aim is to protect public and private property, optimize the utilization of available resources and modern communication tools, and improve the quality of services provided to citizens.
The General Command of the Armed Forces has also shown its commitment by providing full support to all ministries and state institutions. This support is integral to the functioning and success of the new control center.
During the inauguration ceremony, Minister of Social Solidarity Maya Morsi highlighted that the establishment of the Control and Crisis Management Center signifies a significant advancement in the ministry's approach to handling emergencies and crises. She emphasized that the center will enable full internal control and leverage advanced communication technologies to efficiently manage operations.
