Military Production Minister Reviews Operations at Abu Zaabal Specialized Chemicals Company

Cairo: Minister of State for Military Production Salah Soliman Gamblat conducted a field visit to Abu Zaabal Company for Specialized Chemicals (Military Factory 18), as part of regular follow-ups on affiliated entities to inspect operations, output rates, workers' conditions, and occupational safety compliance.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the visit aligns with state strategies to support national industry, deepen local manufacturing, boost product competitiveness, and achieve sustainable development. Gamblat inspected several production lines, reviewing execution rates, quality levels, development plans, and ways to optimize available manufacturing capacities, supporting technology localization and increasing domestic content.

He also checked on workers and workplace conditions, stressing full adherence to occupational health and safety rules as vital pillars for sustaining operations, raising productivity, and safeguarding human capital in line with national workforce goals.

Concluding the visit, the minister met with company workers, expressing appreciation for their dedication and disciplined performance, noting that personnel form the backbone of the military production system and drive state efforts to curb imports through the optimal use of resources. Gamblat thanked the staff, urging teamwork and sustained excellence to advance ministry targets, support domestic industry, and execute state strategies for comprehensive economic and industrial growth.
