Military Production Minister Advocates for Strategic Talent Appointments in Egypt’s Defence Sector

Cairo: Minister of State for Military Production Mohamed Salah Eddin Moustafa chaired a series of meetings to evaluate and select candidates for senior management positions across the National Authority for Military Production and its affiliated companies and units.

According to State Information Service Egypt, candidates were evaluated based on a comprehensive set of leadership competencies, including effective communication, decision-making, strategic thinking, creativity, and crisis management. The minister emphasized the ministry's commitment to investing in human capital as part of Egypt's effort to enhance national industrial capabilities and modernize defense production.

Minister Moustafa highlighted that the human element remains the most critical asset in advancing the defense manufacturing sector. He assured that the selection process for senior roles was conducted with the utmost transparency and precision, considering criteria such as job requirements, academic qualifications, and completion of relevant specialized training programs.

During the meetings, Moustafa directed all affiliated entities to maximize the use of available resources while minimizing unnecessary expenditures. He stressed the importance of applying governance principles to ensure efficient asset management and cost-effectiveness across all companies.

Furthermore, the minister underscored the necessity of localizing advanced manufacturing technologies across various sectors and increasing local content in production. This approach aims to add value to the national economy and reinforce Egypt's industrial sovereignty.
