Cairo: Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly held a meeting to review key economic priorities for the coming period, focusing on preparations for an economic conference initiated by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and developments in the National Economic Transformation Program. According to State Information Service Egypt, Madbouly emphasized that the conference will act as a national platform to address public queries, review recent progress, discuss challenges, and outline future visions on significant economic and developmental issues. The conference aims to unite state institutions, experts, academics, the private sector, civil society, and citizens to exchange views, assess the development process, and identify priorities for the future. The meeting outlined the proposed main themes for the conference, which is expected to yield clear priorities, actionable recommendations, and initiatives that are implementable and subject to monitoring, as stated by the Cabinet spokesman. Additionally, the meeting focused on the National Economic Transformation Program, which seeks to establish a resilient and stable economy led by the private sector, while enhancing exports, job creation, and living standards. This program builds on previous reform initiatives, aiming to assess progress, analyze outcomes, and tackle remaining challenges to develop a comprehensive matrix of economic reforms and executive measures, targeting areas with significant impact.
