Madbouli: New HQ of CPA Step Towards Digitizing Services Presented

New Cairo: Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli highlighted the pivotal role of the Consumer Protection Agency (CPA) to guarantee the rights of the citizens. Madbouli affirmed that the CPA was established with the primary purpose of ensuring consumer welfare and market regulation, aligning with the directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to enhance its role in achieving social protection and market stability.

According to State Information Service Egypt, this statement came during Madbouli's inauguration of the new main headquarters of the CPA in New Cairo. He emphasized that the new premises is a step towards digitizing the services presented by the agency, marking a significant milestone in improving the efficiency and accessibility of consumer protection services.

The event was attended by a notable assembly, including Minister of Local Development Manal Awad, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade Sherif Farouk, Minister of Parliamentary and Legal Affairs Mahmoud Fawzy, Minister of Housing Sherif el Sherbini, Cairo Governor Ibrahim Saber Khalil, and several members of parliament and heads of parliamentary committees. They all gathered to witness this crucial development in the CPA's efforts to modernize its operations.

Madbouli was received by Head of the CPA Ibrahim el Segini, who played a key role in orchestrating the transition to the new headquarters. The move is seen as part of a broader strategy to enhance service delivery and ensure that the CPA can more effectively fulfill its mission of protecting consumer rights and ensuring fair market practices.
