Cairo:The meeting between Investment and Foreign Trade Minister Mohamed Farid and the Arab Businesswomen Council, led by Sheikha Hessa Al Abdullah, focused on promoting joint Arab investment and enhancing women's participation in economic activities. Presidential Adviser Hala El-Saaed also participated in the discussions.
According to State Information Service Egypt, Minister Farid reiterated the ministry's dedication to collaborating with the Arab Businesswomen Council and emphasized establishing direct communication channels with businesswomen interested in investing in Egypt. He suggested organizing regular meetings to highlight investment opportunities and address challenges faced by women investors.
The Minister detailed government initiatives to improve the business environment, including simplifying and digitizing procedures and integrating government entities involved in investment-related services. These measures aim to accelerate services and enhance the investor experience.
Sheikha Hessa Al Abdullah expressed the council's interest in expanding joint Arab investments and increasing its presence in the Egyptian market. She emphasized the importance of nurturing Arab projects into brands capable of reaching global markets.
Hala El-Saaed stressed the significance of exchanging expertise among Arab countries, utilizing successful experiences to support and develop businesses. She highlighted the potential for adopting promising Arab projects and aiding their development toward international expansion.
Both parties agreed to maintain coordination through designated points of contact at the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade, intending to present investment opportunities and address businesswomen's requests and complaints.
