Housing Minister Inspects Downtown Towers and Crystal Lagoon in New Alamein City

New Alamein City: Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities Sherif el Sherbiny recently undertook an inspection visit to New Alamein City to assess the construction progress of the Downtown Towers and the Crystal Lagoon projects.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the minister's tour included discussions with representatives from China's CSCEC, responsible for the tower construction, as well as officials from the ministry, the New Urban Communities Authority, and project consultants. He ascended to the 67th floor of the iconic tower and examined a completed unit in one of the residential towers, while also reviewing the ongoing infrastructure and utility works across the site.

The Downtown project features five towers that overlook an artificial lake. The tallest of these towers stands at 250 meters with 68 floors, while the remaining four towers each rise to 200 meters with 56 floors. At the heart of the project lies the Crystal Lagoon, which is encircled by seven islands and a pedestrian promenade, adding a unique urban element to the development.
