Cairo: Minister of Housing Sherif El-Sherbiny has reviewed periodical reports on execution progress of infrastructure and utility projects in New Obour City and its newly added zones, according to a statement released by the Cabinet on Tuesday, June 10, 2025.
According to State Information Service Egypt, the projects cover the construction of drinking-water and wastewater lines, power networks, and a key electricity substation. The works aim to accelerate development in new urban communities, meet housing demand, and enhance investment opportunities.
El-Sherbiny emphasized the importance of conducting regular field follow-ups on new city projects and ensuring the timely delivery of land plots.
