Cairo: The House of Representatives' Defense and National Security Committee congratulated President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on the 52nd anniversary of the October 1973 victories.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the committee sent a congratulatory message to the Minister of Defense and Military Production and the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces. They emphasized the historic significance of the victory, which restored Egypt's dignity and showcased the courage and sacrifice of the Armed Forces in crossing the Suez Canal and defeating the enemy.

The committee highlighted the loyalty and willingness of the Armed Forces to sacrifice their lives for the nation, asserting that the Egyptian people's will cannot be defeated. They also stressed that the victory serves as a timeless lesson in patriotism, sacrifice, and determination, affirming the enduring role of the Egyptian Armed Forces as a protective shield for the nation.
