Cairo: Minister of State for Military Production Mohamed Salah el Din Mostafa has underscored the strategic importance of Helwan Casting Company, known as Factory 9, as a critical industrial asset for Egypt. Mostafa highlighted the company's state-of-the-art foundries and production lines, which are equipped with cutting-edge technology to address a broad spectrum of military and civilian engineering casting needs pivotal to various feeder industries.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the minister's comments were made during an unexpected inspection visit to Helwan Casting Company. The purpose of the visit was to evaluate the production operations firsthand. Mostafa arrived at the facility at the beginning of the workday to ensure that employees were adhering to their work schedules and fulfilling the company's daily production plans.

During his tour, Mostafa examined several foundries and production lines that meet international standards. These facilities are operated by a workforce of highly skilled employees. The minister also received briefings from Bassem Ibrahim Ismail, the company's authorized general manager, along with other work teams. The briefings covered the latest developments in ongoing projects, compliance with implementation timelines, current production and performance rates, and inventory levels.

Mostafa took the opportunity to listen to the views and demands of the workers. He encouraged them to increase their efforts and directed company officials to resolve issues facing the workforce. His directives included creating a favorable working environment, boosting productivity, and enhancing the company's role in advancing the national industry, in alignment with the directives of the political leadership.
