Cairo: Minister of Health and Population Khaled Abdel Ghaffar held a meeting to review the latest reports on projects being implemented under the first phase of the Universal Health Insurance System, as well as their implementation status and progress rates.
According to State Information Service Egypt, Spokesman for the Ministry of Health and Population Hossam Abdel Ghaffar stated that the meeting reviewed the implementation status and latest developments, along with progress rates, and discussed challenges and mechanisms for addressing them across a number of healthcare and infrastructure projects in various governorates.
The meeting also covered the scope of required works, with emphasis on completing all construction works and preparations, setting specific deadlines for completion, and taking action against those failing to meet their responsibilities.
The spokesman indicated that regular field visits would be conducted to monitor progress on the projects and track implementation rates on an ongoing basis, ensuring compliance with set timelines and expediting project completion.
