Cairo: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar met on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, with INCOME Engineering Services to review the Capital Medical City project in the New Capital. The project, a national priority backed by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, aims to transform medical care, research, and advanced medical training.According to State Information Service Egypt, the project seeks to enhance the efficiency and quality of healthcare services, align with Egypt's National Health Strategy, and improve clinical and academic training for medical staff. The minister emphasized ensuring adequate funding, removing obstacles, and maintaining coordination among all stakeholders to deliver the project on time and to the highest standards.
