Cairo: Minister of Health and Population Khaled Abdel Ghaffar asserted the ministry's commitment to strengthening cooperation with global companies to support the development of Egypt's healthcare system, enhance the quality of training and continuing medical education programs, and leverage technological solutions to improve the work environment and raise the quality of healthcare services provided to citizens.According to State Information Service Egypt, the remarks came during a meeting between the minister and President of Samsung Electronics Egypt Byungmoo Shin to discuss ways to strengthen joint cooperation in developing the healthcare system. This is part of the ministry's efforts to expand partnerships with the private sector and benefit from global expertise and modern technology.Spokesman for the Ministry of Health Hossam Abdel Ghaffar stated that the meeting focused on supporting the training infrastructure at the Princess Fatma Academy for Medical Education by equipping an advanced training ha ll, in addition to upgrading the ministry's crisis management room.This initiative is intended to provide a modern training environment that helps qualify and develop the skills of medical teams in accordance with the latest international standards.The meeting also reviewed several proposals for future cooperation and explored opportunities to benefit from Samsung's expertise in technology and digital transformation. This collaboration aims to support the ministry's plans for improving its operational systems, enhancing the quality of healthcare services, and ensuring the sustainability of development and training programs.
