Cairo: Deputy Prime Minister for Human Development and Minister of Health and Population Khaled Abdel Ghaffar confirmed that the Armed Forces College of Medicine is a unique model that merges military discipline with scientific excellence. Abdel Ghaffar commended the advanced system and scientific vision he observed during his visit, which are helping to prepare a new generation of exceptional doctors in various medical fields.
According to State Information Service Egypt, Abdel Ghaffar's remarks came during his visit to the Military Medical College on Saturday, December 27, 2025, to review the development and modernization efforts, as well as the comprehensive vision the college has been experiencing lately. This includes enrolling the first female class in military training and the first mixed (male and female) class in civilian training, along with the overall development of lecture halls, laboratories, student housing, sports facilities, and the medical station.
These improvements reflect the college's commitment to providing all the necessary elements for excellence, developing the capabilities of human resources, and creating an academic environment that enhances the quality of medical education. This comes in line with the directives from the political leadership to maximize the use of all available capabilities and resources to enhance the healthcare system, as part of the Armed Forces' commitment to the ongoing development of the medical sector.
The visit included a tour of several educational facilities and specialized laboratories within the college, which are equipped with the latest devices and equipment.
