New capital: President of the Union of Radio and Television of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) member states Amr el Leithy expressed on Sunday, April 5, 2026, his deep appreciation and gratitude to the political leadership of Egypt led by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi for continuous support of the path of knowledge and enlightenment and for reinforcing Egypt's role as a cradle of moderate thought.

According to State Information Service Egypt, this acknowledgment came during Leithy's speech at the opening of the 11th session of the Union of Radio and Television of OIC member states. The event was organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Awqaf in the New Capital and saw participation from a distinguished group of media leaders from Arab and Islamic countries.
