Cairo: Grand Mufti and Head of the General Secretariat for Fatwa Authorities Worldwide Nazir Mohamed Ayyad congratulated President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the Egyptian people, and the Arab and Islamic nations on the occasion of the Prophet Muhammad's birthday. Ayyad prayed that the blessed occasion would return to Egypt and the Islamic nation with goodness, security, and stability.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the Grand Mufti emphasized that the Prophet's birthday is not merely an occasion to recall episodes from his life but an opportunity to draw inspiration from the values of mercy, compassion, forgiveness, and kindness embodied by the Prophet. He added that the Prophet's final message established principles that preserve human dignity, protect societies from division and conflict, and promote cooperation, mutual understanding, and peace.

Ayyad highlighted that the greatest lesson to be drawn from the occasion is that love for the Prophet should be translated into action and conduct by following his example of honesty, integrity, and benevolence. He emphasized serving others, reinforcing the values of responsibility and solidarity, and building a society governed by affection, wisdom, and moderation.

He concluded with prayers to God to protect Egypt, its leadership, and people, preserve its security and stability, and guide President El-Sisi toward what serves the nation's interests and advances its standing. Ayyad also prayed that the occasion would return to the Arab and Islamic nations with goodness and blessings.
