Cairo: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Egyptian Expatriates has established a task force within its consular sector to oversee the situation of Egyptian communities in the region amidst ongoing military escalation. The unit is set to handle inquiries from Egyptian nationals and monitor developments concerning their safety.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the task force has activated a WhatsApp number, 00201226858000, to address questions related to the conditions of citizens abroad. The task force maintains constant communication with Egyptian diplomatic missions to provide the necessary support to nationals.

The ministry has urged Egyptian communities to remain vigilant and adhere to safety and security instructions issued by local authorities.
