Alamein:Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs Badr Abdelatty hosted a dinner banquet for ministers and senior officials participating in the "Alamein-Africa Forum."
According to State Information Service Egypt, the dinner was attended by high-ranking officials, including the Prime Minister and Cabinet Secretary for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs of Kenya, the Foreign Ministers of Angola, Burundi, Chad, Equatorial Guinea, Uganda, Libya, and Togo, Nigeria's Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, the US President's Senior Advisor for Arab and African Affairs, the Chief Executive Officer of the New Partnership for Africa's Development (NEPAD), and the first Vice President of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
The event was part of efforts to enhance communication and consultation on advancing joint African action and expanding economic and investment cooperation across the continent. Participants at the dinner discussed strategies to enhance economic and investment partnerships among the countries and institutions involved in the forum. They also exchanged perspectives on significant regional and international issues of mutual interest.
