Cairo: Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty emphasized the significance of the Hafiz platform as a pivotal tool for financial and technical support aimed at bolstering Egyptian companies and enhancing their competitiveness. The minister's remarks came during his participation in a promotional event for the platform, held on Sunday, May 10, 2026.According to State Information Service Egypt, the Hafiz platform functions as an executive mechanism for innovative financing in the private sector, linking Egyptian businesses with international development and financing partners. The initiative underscores the State's commitment to reinforcing the private sector's role as an essential partner in achieving economic development. The event was attended by representatives from various sectors, including business councils, chambers of commerce, and international development partners.Minister Abdelatty announced plans for awareness tours to promote the platform across different governorates, with a focus on Upper Egypt, aligning with the state's objective of balanced and comprehensive development. The event featured the signing of letters of intent with Chemonics Egypt and Forvis Mazars, aimed at conducting these promotional tours and strengthening cooperation with international consultancy firms in areas such as capacity building, advisory services, and technical support.The event also included a detailed presentation on the platform's services and guidance on leveraging them effectively. In discussions with private sector representatives and international development partners, Abdelatty engaged in dialogue concerning the improvement of the business environment and the enhancement of trade and investment flows.
