Cairo:According to State Information Service Egypt, the meeting aimed to advance President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's directives, which focus on intensifying Egypt's diplomatic initiatives to address regional conflicts. The Foreign Ministry Spokesperson, Nader Zaki, stated that the meeting included a comprehensive review of recent developments on several priority regional issues, as well as Egypt's commitment to resolving conflicts through peaceful means and restoring stability.
Abdelatty emphasized the importance of sustained diplomatic engagement in line with presidential directives, aiming to contain regional crises and prevent further escalation. He reiterated Egypt's support for the unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of states. The foreign minister instructed officials to keep a close watch on regional developments and to enhance consultation and coordination among the Ministry's sectors and diplomatic missions.
Abdelatty also called for improved political analysis and assessment to ensure a rapid and effective Egyptian diplomatic response. This approach is intended to support decision-making processes in addressing regional challenges and contribute to de-escalation efforts and sustainable political solutions.
