This initiative is part of the State's efforts to enhance the governance and management of development financing provided by both bilateral and multilateral development partners.
The minister highlighted the system's role in improving oversight and management of development financing, thereby maximizing the benefits of such funds. He also noted that the system's launch would be a significant step toward better integrating the State's political and development efforts and enabling a more effective response to existing challenges.
Furthermore, Abdelatty stressed the importance of ongoing coordination with national beneficiary entities, Egyptian diplomatic missions abroad, and development partners to optimize the benefits of development financing and grants. The meeting also reviewed the operational framework of the electronic system, which serves as a unified government platform for managing and monitoring data on development financing and projects at every stage, from negotiations through implementation.
