He highlighted the severe economic repercussions of continued hostilities on both the Egyptian and global economy, including impacts on international navigation, supply chains, oil and food prices, and inflationary pressures.The call further addressed developments in Sudan, where the two sides discussed the importance of reaching a temporary humanitarian truce to lay the groundwork for a ceasefire and initiate a Sudanese-owned political dialogue.
