FM Reviews Vision to Strengthen Strategic Partnership at Italy-Africa Summit

Cairo: Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty participated in the second Italy-Africa Summit at the directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi. Abdelatty outlined Egypt's vision for strengthening the strategic partnership between Africa and Italy in a way that promotes sustainable development and strengthens stability across Africa.According to State Information Service Egypt, Abdelatty conveyed the greetings of President Sisi to the participants, emphasizing that convening the summit reflects the importance of establishing a sustainable institutional framework for Africa-Italy relations based on regular dialogue, long-term planning, and a balanced approach to shared challenges. He stressed the need to translate political commitments into bankable, implementable projects and practical programs with tangible impact.Abdelatty expressed Egypt's aspiration to enhance trilateral cooperation among Egypt, Italy, and other African countries, particularly i n continental interconnection, clean energy, green transition, food security, and human capacity development, in line with the African Union's Agenda 2063 objectives.
